How do I join? We provide FREE online study at Womens Bible Cafe™ (WBC) and meet in a Facebook group. We provide an upgraded membership experience at Bible Cafe™ University (BCU) and meet by Zoom. Bring your study book and join the conversations.

When is the next study? Look at the Bible Study Courses Page.

Do I need to have previous Bible study experience? Not at all, come join us!

Do I need a book? Yes. Bible Cafe™ studies are built on the model of church Bible study groups. The study book is available from most bookstores. Digital books are sometimes available from Lifeway, ChristianBooks, Thrift Books, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, or iTunes. When using a digital book we recommend a journal for recording your responses to the study questions.

What type of studies do you offer? We teach many Bible study methods including topical studies about a specific theme and character studies about a person from the Bible. Our studies are adapted from Bible study workbooks, commentaries, or chapter books. We use study books from a variety of Bible teachers and alternate between shorter 6-week studies and longer 10-week studies.

How do you select your study books? We are not affiliated with the publishers or authors and prayerfully consider the books we select.

Am I assigned a group? No. Select the day and time you want to attend. Show up and look for a group photo on that day/time.

What day and time do we meet? Small groups are available mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

How long are the small group meetings? One hour.

Are Zoom groups videos recorded so if I miss one then I can watch it later? No. For privacy, the groups are not recorded.

When was the Bible Cafe™ founded? In 2009 by Christine Abraham. She invited 14 women from Twitter to join her for a WILD idea: online Bible study! Since then, we have grown to an international online Bible study.

What experience do you have? Our Founder & Executive Director earned a Graduate of Theology degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University. In addition to her Biblical Studies education, she has completed more than 100 Bible studies. Many of our volunteers lead in local churches as Pastors, Chaplain, Ministry Leaders, Bible Study Leaders, BSF Leaders, Precepts Leaders, and more.

What church are you affiliated with? None. Bible Cafe™ is a Christian interdenominational ministry. Our leaders are Evangelical, Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Protestant, Southern Baptist and similar denominations. We are a parachurch ministry and not affiliated with a specific denomination.
